Try Sailing

Our Try Sailing programme caters for adults and family groups. These courses are intended for absolute beginners who would like to experience sailing before they decide whether to commit to a longer course.

The Try Sailing experience lasts about 3 hours and our courses are scheduled during mornings and afternoons at weekends and weekday evenings during the summer months.

When you arrive at our base in Malahide Marina, we will provide you with personal safety equipment and wet weather gear, before going through a short safety briefing.

As soon as you are ready, we will set sail for the open sea just off our beautiful North Dublin coastline. During the lesson, you will have the opportunity to trim the sails and steer the boat.

Most of our Clients doing this course come as individuals and enjoy meeting new people on their Try Sailing experience. We are delighted to cater for private lessons, groups of adults and families as well.
