Our Learn to Sail adult programme is based on the Irish Sailing Association’s Small Boat Sailing Scheme. These courses cater for absolute beginners through to people who have keelboat or dinghy sailing experience but want to improve their skills and become more independent sailors.
We provide personal safety equipment and wet weather gear for use during the course. You will also receive a logbook which outlines the skills you will learn. The logbook should be used to keep a record of your training and any sailing experience you gain after completing the course.

J24 keelboats
All our sailing takes place in J24 keelboats. These 24 foot long (7.3m) boats are the world’s most popular keelboat class and are designed to be sailed by four to six people. To ensure that you get the most out of your Learn to Sail course, each boat will have a qualified ISA Instructor with a maximum of four adult trainees.
